NOTORIOUS 5K
“Fight for the things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Join us for the 2nd Annual Notorious 5K Run/Walk to honor 'Notorious' Women Leaders who went against the norm and fought for Women's rights.
This year will again highlight Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Supreme Court Justice who successfully fought against gender discrimination, changing the way the world is for American women. She was a champion for Women’s Rights throughout her entire career, fighting for rights that most women now take for granted. She was a pioneer, an eloquent advocate, a fearless role model, and a protector of women's rights.
It makes sense to do a 5K walk or run on RBG's Birthday on March 15, 2022, as she was not just strong in the courtroom but also physically strong. She was an exercise enthusiast even in her 80s working out weekly and still able to perform 20 full pushups! We'll ask you to do 20 pushups before or after your 5K in true RBG style! Let's strive to be #RBGSTRONG #Notorious5K
We will come together in an active way, on her birthday, to remember and honor her life's work while raising funds for Girls Inc, a national non-profit dedicated to developing our future female leaders and inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. #Notorious5K
